TLDR: Funny farm boy into Tolkein gets into D&D through his brother and metal via his brother’s friends. Brother’s friends got him interested in metal and black dog lore. Also talk of a band formed up, but prior to it kick starting his older brother left the friend group. Brandon instead took his place only to be backstabbed by false promises. A last fuck you to his older brother for leaving. Other issues surfaced, but Brandon tried to fix things up only for his mental health to tank. As an adult, he became a stoner pretty much and took the spot of their former guitarist. Brandon coming to FreakFest was purely for his band leader’s sake, but he wanted to rekindle his ties with a bandmate.
